SWCP: Fale-nos do seu trabalho em SW:Clone Wars.
D.K: Eu sempre quis trabalhar com esse franchise e fui escolhido para interpretar o papel do General Tandin num episódio de duas partes(Temporada V: Episódio: The soft war) .Fiquei emocionado por ter trabalhado com o elenco dessa série.
SWCP: Foi a voz do Megatron em 1994 para a popular série `Transformers´.Que memórias guarda dessa experiência?
D.K: Fiz quatro temporadas como Megatron na série `Beast wars´em meados dos anos 90.As melhores memórias são o trabalho com os outros membros do elenco;Acho que o argumento foi fantástico e pareceu realmente devolver aos Transformers a sua mística,mais forte do que nunca.
SWCP: Curiosamente,foi mais tarde a voz do Optimus Prime.Gosta de interpretar mais heróis ou vilões?
D.K: Os vilões são sempre mais divertidos para trabalhar!Apesar de achar que os bons rapazes são desafiantes de tempos a tempos e eu adoro desafios,mas os vilões têm tantos níveis diferentes e realmente divirto-me muito mais com eles.
SWCP: Tendo feito diversas dobragens de personagens de Anime/Manga como por exemplo: Inuyasha ou Dragon Ball Z,que diferenças nota mais entre a animação japonesa e a ocidental?
SWCP: Que mensagem quer enviar aos seus fãs?
D.K: Um GRANDE obrigado pelo vosso apoio.Não há nenhum `Nós´se não houver `Voçês´.Por isso,muito obrigado!Vejam o próximo filme `Ratchet & Clank´baseado na série do vídeojogo.Deverá ser lançado em 2015.Fiquem bem e cuidem-se!

David Kaye is a Canadian actor who has been worked in
several series such as: Battle Star Galactica, The X-Files and Murder in my
mind. As a voice actor, aye was the voice of many characters in animation
series and video games. He was the voice of General Tandin on S.W: Clone Wars
(CGI) Season five.
SWCP: Please, tell us a bit more about your work on
Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
D.K: I've always wanted to work with the franchise and
was cast as General Tandin in a two part episode (Season five-Episode: The soft
war). I was thrilled to be able to work with the cast.
SWCP: In 1994 you were the voice of Megatron in the
popular series `Transformers’. Which memories do you keep of this experience?
D.K: I did 4 seasons as Megatron on the Beast wars
series in the mid 90's. Best memories are working with the other cast members.
I thought the writing was fantastic and it seemed to really bring the
Transformers franchise back and stronger than ever.
SWCP: Curiously, later you were the voice of Optimus
Prime. Do you like interpreting more villains or heroes?
D.K: Villains are always fun to do! I'd have to say
the good guys are challenging at times and I love the challenge. The villains
have so many different levels and I really have a lot of fun with them.
SWCP: Being the voice of several Anime/Manga´s
characters such as Inuyasha or Dragon Ball Z, which differences do you note
more between Japanese and occidental animation series?
D.K: For anime it's a matter of matching the dialogue
with the animated lip flaps. Since the animation is done it CAN be limiting but
it's an art to make it sound great while working in those parameters. So
there's a lot of skill involved. My favorite though is standard animation with
other actors in the studio. Best fun I've ever had. Period!
SWCP: Would you like to leave a message for your fans?
D.K: A BIG thank you for all your support. There's no
US if there wasn't YOU. So thank you so much. Watch for the upcoming feature
film 'Ratchet & Clank' based on the video game series. Works wide release
in 2015
