O ator Albert Moses está envolvido na indústria cinematográfica há mais de 30 anos como duplo,ator,realizador e produtor em filmes e séries como: The spy who loved me,Um lobisomem americano em Londres,Octopussy,O livro da selva II.


SWCP: O que o fez tornar-se num ator?

A.M: A minha mãe era professora e costumava fazer teatro connosco para nos divertirmos e isso foi-se tão tornando popular que acabei por fazer o mesmo quando eles voltavam para casa para atuar comigo.

SWCP:Porque lhe chamavam o “Clark Gable Indiano”?

A.M: Porque achavam que me parecia com ele com traços semelhantes, e com o mesmo estilo de cabelo e bigode.

SWCP: Como foi ter trabalhado com o lendário realizador John Houston?

A.M: Era maravilhoso trabalhar com o John Houston pois ele era tão gentil e dedicado. Ele permitia que os atores atuassem à sua própria maneira e se houvesse algo que ele quisesse modificar ele dizia "Vamos tentar desta forma e demonstrá-la”. Sendo assim, era relaxante trabalhar com ele, sem pressões.

SWCP: Fale-nos dos seus papéis nos filmes do James Bond.

A.M: Interpretei o papel de um barman em `THE SPY WHO LOVD ME ´e foi muito divertido, não tive muito que fazer. Em `OCTOPUSSY ´era um agente britânico que se encontrou com o James Bond e o ajudou na Índia.

SWCP: É também um escritor. É uma atividade que exerce agora com mais frequência?

A.M: Sim, publiquei três livros para crianças: O Falcão e as Tartarugas, O Rato Mustapha vai à cidade-um livro que contém 8 contos Indianos, um livro com 80 poemas e dois argumentos para televisão.

SWCP: Que conselho gostaria de dar àqueles que querem tornar-se atores?

A.M: Frequentem aulas de drama e também juntem grupos de drama para amadores. Não é fácil entrar nesta Indústria, não fiquem desanimados se não forem selecionados para atuar em qualquer filme, televisão ou teatro. Perseverança é a resposta

The actor Albert Moses has been involved in the film/television industry for over 30 years as an actor, double, director and producer in films and series such as: The Spy who loved me, An American Werewolf in London, Octopussy, Jungle Book II, etc.

SWCP: What made you want to become an actor?

A.M: My mother was a teacher and she used to be part of the drama which we did for fun and it caught on and I used to do the same when they came home to play with me.

SWCP: Why they call you "The Indian Gable"?

A.M: Because they thought I looked like him with similar looks, the same hair style and Moustache as well.

SWCP: What was it like working with the legendary director John Houston?

A.M: John Houston was wonderful to work with so kind and dedicated. He allowed the actors to go about acting in their own way and if there was something he wanted changed he would say shall we try that this way and demonstrate it. This way was so relaxing with no pressure.

SWCP: Tell us about your roles on the James Bond movies.

A.M: I play the Barmen in `THE SPY WHO LOVED ME´ great fun, nothing much to do. In `OCTOPUSSY´ I play the British agent who meets James Bond and helps him in India.

SWCP: You´re also a writer. It is an activity that you practice currently with more frequency?

A.M: Yes, I have published three children’s books: THE HAWK AND THE TURTLES, MUSTAPHA MOUSE GOES TO THE CITY, a book containing eight tales from India and a book of 80 poems and two TV scripts.

SWCP: What advice would you like to give to anyone who wants to become an actor?

A.M: Go to drama classes and also join amateur drama groups, to keep at it as it is not easy to get into the Industry, don’t be disheartened if you are not selected to act in any films, TV or theatre and drama. Perseverance is the answer.
