inglês Raymond Griffiths, participou em diversos filmes e séries televisivas
como: Willow,Harry Potter,Visitantes,entre outros. Raymond interpretou o papel
do Gonk Droid no episódio I de Star Wars: A ameaça fantasma.
SWCP:
Fale-nos do seu trabalho em Star Wars.
R.G: Eu fui
contratado para ser o Stand-in (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand-in) do Jake Lloyd e acabei por
interpretar o Gonk Droid. Foi uma experiência fantástica ter passado 10 semanas
nos estúdios Leavesden e 3 semanas no Deserto do Saara a trabalhar para o
George Lucas.
SWCP: Como e
quando iniciou a sua carreira como ator?
R.G: Eu
estava a fazer uma viagem a Londres, quando fui interpelado pelo Jeremy
Zimmermann enquanto passeava por Kings Road. Ele perguntou-me se eu gostaria de
entrar num filme. O filme chamava-se Willow. Ele era o diretor de casting, e
foi assim que a minha história começou.
SWCP:
Fale-nos da digressão de comédia “ See how they run”.
R.G: É uma
oportunidade fantástica para atores baixinhos fazerem uma digressão pelo país com
pessoas de pensamento similar e apresentar uma peça pelos nossos próprios
méritos; mal posso esperar pela próxima digressão.
SWCP: Além
de ator,é também artista em modelagem e prostética,dançarino,duplo…Em qual
destas áreas gosta mais de trabalhar?
R.G: Eu
gosto da fisicalidade de fazer dobragens levando-me ao limite.
SWCP:
Participou no episódio `O leão e a rosa´na aclamada série televisiva `A guerra
dos tronos’. Como foi essa experiência?
R.G: Foi uma
experiência emocionante ter-me juntado a uma série já tão popular e trabalhar
num local tão belo como é a Croácia.
SWCP: Que
mensagem quer enviar aos seus fãs?
R.G: Acreditem

The British actor Raymond Griffiths participated in
several films and Television shows such as: Willow, Harry Potter, Visitors,
among others. He also played the role of Gonk Droid on Star Wars: The phantom
menace (episode I).
SWCP: Tell us about your work on Star Wars.
R.G: I was employed as Jakes stand-in : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand-in and went on to play the Gonk Droid. It was a fantastic experience to have 10
weeks at Leavesden studios and 3 weeks in the Sahara desert whilst working for
George Lucas.
SWCP: How and when, did you start your career as an
actor?
R.G: I was on a trip to London when I was stopped by Jeremy
Zimmermann whilst walking down the Kings Road. He asked if I would like to be
in a film. The film was called Willow. He was the casting director and that was
where my story begins.
SWCP: Tell us about the tour “See how they run".
R.G: What a fantastic opportunity for short actors to
tour the country with likeminded individuals and present a play on our own
merits and I can’t wait for the next tour.
SWCP: Besides actor, you are also a
modelling/prosthetic artist, stuntman, dancer...In which of these skills do you
like working more?
R.G: I like the physicality of doing stunt work and
pushing myself to the limit.
SWCP: You participated in the acclaimed TV show, Game
of Thrones, in the episode "The Lion and the Rose”. How it was this
experience?
R.G: This was an exciting experience to join an
already popular series and work in such a beautiful location in Croatia.
SWCP: What message would you like to send for your
