O Americano Richard Green é um ator vocal, cantor e realizador que participou na série animada (CGI) Star Wars: Clone Wars, dando a voz aos personagens Lo-Taren e Krix.

SWCP: Fale-nos sobre a sua participação na série Star Wars: Clone Wars.

R.G: Passei uns tempos maravilhosos a trabalhar nessa série a desenvolver os personagens com outros atores e o diretor. Senti que o George Lucas estava perto porque o diretor Dave, esteve em contato com ele muitas vezes.

SWCP: Sendo o fundador e diretor dos Estúdios `Next Step’, pode dizer-nos o que se faz nessa empresa? 

R.G: A Next Step é uma pequena produtora. Produzimos duas séries e outros numerosos projetos. Agora estamos focados em `History of Cool´. Podem saber mais em:

SWCP: É também cantor, escritor e produtor de músicas. Tem alguma canção sua preferida que tenha surgido em filmes?

R.G: A minha canção `Seamy Side of LA ´ foi usada no filme ` Burn Hollywood Burn´.Não fiquei louco sobre o filme mas trauteei a melodia.

SWCP: É verdade que substituiu o ator Frank Gorshin após a sua morte, na voz do personagem Professor Hugo Strange,na série animada `Batman´?

R.G: Sim e foi um personagem surpreendentemente bem trabalhado com grande profundidade e sentimentos.O Gorshin foi assombroso.

SWCP: Como ator, foi um “Mágico “no filme surrealista do David Lynch `Mulholland Drive´.Fale-nos um pouco sobre o seu papel.

R.G: Eu já conhecia o David há muitos anos e ele escolheu-me depois de ouvir o livro 7 Year Zig Zag em versão vídeo. Foi uma grande experiência.

SWCP: Que mensagem quer enviar aos fãs de Clone Wars?

R.G: Não fiquem tristes por a série ter terminado. Muitos desses personagens voltarão em Star Wars:Rebels.

The American Richard Green is a voice actor, musician, director and stage actor, who participated on animated CGI series Star Wars: Clone Wars, giving his voice to the characters Lo-Taren and Krix.

SWCP: Tell us about your participation on SW: Clone Wars.

R.G: I had a wonderful time. Developing the character with the other actors and the director. I felt that George Lucas was close by because the director Dave was in contact with him often. 

SWCP: You are the founder and management director of `Next Step Studios’. What is done exactly in this enterprise?

R.G: Next Step is a small production. We have produced two features and numerous other projects. Now we are focused on History of Cool. Check it out at:

SWCP: You are also a singer/song writer/producer. Do you have any favorite song of yours that has been used in any film? 

R.G: My song Seamy Side of LA was used in the movie Burn Hollywood Burn. I wasn't crazy about the movie but I dug the tune.

SWCP: Is that true that you replaced the voice actor Frank Gorshin after his death, providing the voice for Professor Hugo Strange in the `Batman ´animated series?

R.G: Yes and it was an amazingly well crafted character with great depth and feeling.Gorshin was amazing.

SWCP: As an actor, you were a "magician “in David Lynch´s Mulholland Drive movie. Tell us a bit more about your role.

R.G: I had known David for many years and he chose me after hearing a book on tape version of 7 Year Zig Zag. It was a great experience.

SWCP: What message would you like to leave for the fans of Clone Wars?

R.G: Don't be sad that the show is gone. The characters live on and many will return in Star Wars:Rebels.
