Claudia Christian é uma atriz,cantora,realizadora e escritora Americana que tem participado em diversos filmes e séries televisivas como: Babylon 5,Mad about you,Maniac Cop,Atlantis: The lost empire,Space Rangers, entre outros. 

SWCP: Fale-nos do seu papel na série Babylon 5.

C.C: Adorei fazer a Babylon 5, singularmente foi a melhor experiência de TV da minha carreira com 30 mais de anos e conheci amigos para sempre nesses estúdios. 

SWCP: É também cantora e música, tendo inclusive a colaboração de alguns dos atores de Babylon 5 no álbum `The be five´.Como os convenceu a participarem? Há algum deles que poderia seguir uma carreira como músico?

C.C: O CD `Be five´foi ideia do Bill Mumy, dou-lhe todo o crédito por ter conseguido colocá-lo reuni-los, foi um estouro! A Mira tem feito alguns álbuns e outros membros do elenco também cantam.

SWCP: Tem participado em acções de caridade como por exemplo a divulgação do método Sinclair-Uma cura para o alcoolismo. Como se envolveu neste tipo de acções? 

C.C: Comecei a minha fundação sem fins lucrativos (www.cthreefoundation.org ) para ajudar as pessoas viciadas em álcool. Tive as minhas próprias lutas com as bebidas e o método Sinclair salvou a minha vida, então agora dedico o meu tempo a promover esta causa, salvando e acessando um fácil tratamento para pessoas com AUD (transtorno de uso de álcool). 

SWCP: O seu primeiro papel na Televisão foi como atriz convidada na popular série `Dallas’. Que memórias guarda desses tempos? 

C.C: Dallas? O que posso lembrar-me claramente é que o Larry Hagman foi vestido com umas Lederhosen (Calças de couro largas e curtas da região da Baviera) enquanto estava a dirigir o episódio, ele era hilariante... 

SWCP: Sabemos que depois de participar em inúmeras convenções, decidiu conceber a sua própria convenção intitulada `Claudia Con UK´ que decorreu no Reino Unido em 2011.Porquê? 

C.C: Concebi a Claudia Con porque queria que os fãs tivessem a oportunidade de tirar fotos, vídeos, cumprimentarem-me, abraçarem-me e sair com celebridades em vez de estarem separados por cordas e regras.

SWCP: Só por curiosidade, é fã de Star Wars? 

C.C: Só vi apenas um filme de Star Wars, o original.

SWCP: Quer enviar alguma mensagem aos seus fãs?

C.C: Para os meus fãs: Agradeço o apoio e o amor que vocês têm demonstrado através dos anos e espero que possa continuar a entretê-lo nas próximas décadas!

Claudia Christian is an American actress, writer, singer and director, who participated in several films and Television shows such as: Babylon 5, Mad about you, Maniac Cop, Atlantis: The lost empire, Space Rangers, among others.  

SWCP: Tell us about your work on TV show `Babylon V´. 

C.C: I loved doing Babylon 5, it was singularly the best TV experience of my 30+ year career and I met life long friends on that set!

SWCP: You´re also a musician, having released an album called `The be five ‘with the collaboration of some Babylon 5 actors. How did you get them to participate? Some of them would have a future as a musician or singer? 

C.C: The Be 5 CD was Bill Mumy’s idea, I give him full credit for putting it together, it was a blast! Mira has gone on to make albums and other cast members sing as well.

SWCP: You start advertising the Sinclair Method, to cure alcoholics, as your main charity work. How did you get involved in this kind of charity? 

C.C: I started my non profit (www.cthreefoundation.org) to help people addicted to alcohol. I had my own struggles with drinking and The Sinclair method saved my life so I now devote my time to promoting this life saving , affordable, easy treatment for people with AUD (alcohol use disorder). 

SWCP: Your first role on Television was a guest appearance on `Dallas’. What memories do you keep from those times?

C.C: Dallas? What I can clearly remember is that Larry Hagman was dressed in Lederhosen (baggy leather and short, traditional Bavarian pants) and was directing the episode, he was hilarious….

SWCP: We know that you after participating in several conventions, decided to conceive your own convention (Claudia Con UK) which took place in the United Kingdom on 2011.Why? 

C.C: I threw Claudia Con because I wanted fans to have the opportunity to take photos, video, shake hands, hug and hang out with celebrities instead of being separated from them by ropes and rules.

SWCP: Just for curiosity, are you a Star Wars fan? 

C.C: I have only seen one Star Wars film, the original one.

SWCP: Would you like to send a message for your fans?

C.C: To my fans: I appreciate the support and love you have shown me through the years and I hope I can continue to entertain you for decades to come!
