Sandi Finlay é uma atriz,D.J e promotora Australiana que interpretou o papel da Sly Moore,a assistente do Supremo Senador Palpatine nos episódios II e III de Star Wars.

SWCP: Como surgiu a oportunidade de trabalhar em dois filmes de Star Wars?

S.F: Fui chamada aos estúdios da Fox pelo meu agente para fazer um teste de maquilhagem para uma longa-metragem... Não sabia que era para Star Wars (O Ataque dos Clones) disseram-me que era para um longa-metragem australiana...  Depois de terminar a minha maquilhagem,  vi o George Lucas atravessar a sala de maquilhagem... e disse para o meu maquilhador o seguinte: "Sim é perfeita" e, em seguida, olhou para mim e disse "Oi Sandi sou o George, bem-vinda à família de Star Wars"... Quase caí da minha cadeira,pois sou uma grande fã de Star Wars.
Nunca esquecerei andar nos cenários de A Vingança dos Sith,o George Lucas disse-me: Bem-vinda de volta Sandi, é ótimo trabalhar consigo de novo... Meus Deus,o George Lucas lembrou-se do meu nome!!!

SWCP: Fale-nos um pouco sobre a Sly Moore.Parece que a sua espécie,os Umbarans,tinham a capacidade de poder influenciar e até mesmo de controlar a mente dos outros.É verdade?

S.F:  A Sly Moore tem os melhores poderes... Ela pode influênciar e sim mesmo controlar mentes de outras pessoas... A sua capa é realmente multi colorida iridescente, mas apenas visível aos outros Umbarans... Sly Moore é a assistente pessoal do Palpatine.Eles têm uma relação muito especial... ela conhece os segredos mais sombrios e profundos do Palpatine e é extremamente sua protetora.O objetivo secreto da Sly Moore era realmente assumir o controlo do Senado.Houve alguns rumores dentro do Senado que a Sly Moore poderia ser um Sith... (Quem me dera! Lol) e ela e o Palpatine eram na verdade amantes...

SWCP: É atualmente D.J e promotora de eventos.Hotrod é o seu nome artístico nesta área?

S.F: Sim, eu sou DJ há mais de 25 anos... Tenho tido sorte suficiente para atuar em alguns dos maiores eventos:Mardi Gras,Festas de carnaval em piscinas,Tropical Fruits, Matinee, Inquisition,etc.Hotrod tem sido a minha alcunha há mais de 30 anos,já que tive um Ford 1939 Delux conversível HOTROD.

SWCP: O cabelo rapado é a sua imagem de marca?

S.F: Tenho rapado a minha cabeça durante 25 anos... Eu amo a minha careca e é a minha imagem de marca.

SWCP: Voltando a Star Wars,se fosse novamente convidada a participar nos novos filmes da saga,que tipo de personagem gostaria de interpretar?

S.F: Eu adoraria ser convidada a trabalhar nas novas sagas... Entrei em contato com a Disney, disse-lhes que eu era, mas nenhuma resposta.  Adoraria interpretar um Jedi que se converteria para o lado negro.

SWCP: Que mensagem gostaria de enviar aos fãs de Star Wars?

S.F: Para os fãs mais incríveis do mundo, obrigado pela vossa dedicação a Star Wars e o amor que vocês têm pela Sly Moore,... Sem Star Wars seria apenas um filme, mas vocês têm desenvolvido uma força como nenhuma outra!!!
A vossa imaginação ajuda a manter viva esta produção fantástica sobre em uma galáxia muito, muito distante...

Sandi Finlay is an Australian actress,D.J and promoter who played the role of Sly Moore, the senior administrative aide to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones an episode III Revenge of the Sith. 

SWCP: How did the opportunity to work in two Star Wars films?  

S.F: I was called to Fox Studio by my agent for a make-up test for a feature film.. I had no idea it was for STAR WARS(Attack of The Clones) I was told it was for an Australian Feature Film..  After my make- up was finished I saw George Lucas walk through the makeup room...George came over to my make up station and said to my make-up artist "Yes that’s perfect" and then looked at me and said "Hi Sandi im George, welcome to The STAR WAS FAMILY"..I almost fell off my chair as I’m a huge STAR WARS FAN...

I will never forget walking back on set for Revenge of The Sith, George Lucas said to me, Welcome back Sandi it’s great to be working with you again.....OMG, George Lucas remembered my name!!!!!!!  

SWCP: Tell us a bit more about Sly Moore.It seems that your species,the Umbarans, are rumored to be able to influence and even control the minds of others. Is that true? 

S.F:  Sly Moore has the best powers...She can bend and YES even control minds of others..Her cape is actually multi colored iridescent but only visible to other Umbarans..Sly Moore is Palpatines personal aid...They have a very,very special relationship..Sly Moore knows Palpatines deepest darkest secrets and is extremely protective of him...Sly Moore's secret goal was actually to take over The Senate herself...There was a few rumors within The Senate that Sly Moore might be a Sith...(I wish lol) and her and Palpatine were actually lovers.... 

SWCP: You're currently a D.J and promoter of events. Hotrod is your nickname name in this area? 

S.F: Yes I am a DJ and have been for over 25 years...I have been lucky enough to play at some of the biggest parties...e.g. Mardi Gras, Mardi Gras Pool Party, Tropical Fruits, Matinee, Inquisition Ect. Hotrod has been my nickname for over 30 years as I used to have a 1939 Ford Delux Convertible HOTROD.

SWCP: Your bald head is your brand image? 

S.F: I have been shaving my head for about 25 years...I love my bald head and YES it is my trademark/Brand image.

SWCP: Returning to Star Wars, if you were invited to participate in the new movies of the saga, what kind of character would you like to play?  

S.F: I would love to be asked to work on the new sagas...I actually contacted Disney, told them who I was but no reply. I would love to play a Jedi that turns to The Dark Side.

SWCP: What message would you like to send for Star Wars fans? 

S.F: To The most amazing fans in The WORLD, I thank you for your dedication to Star Wars and the love you have for Sly Moore,...Without YOU Star Wars would just be a film but You have made it a Force like no other!!!!
