Rebecca Holden é uma atriz, modelo e cantora norte-americana. Holden trabalhou em programas de horário nobre, como Knight Rider, The Love Boat; Magnum, P.I.; Matt Houston; Three's Company; Taxi; Night Court; Mike Hammer; Remington Steele; Barney Miller; Quincy, M.E.; T.J. Hooker; Police Squad, entre outros.

 

SWCP: Entre tantos personagens que interpretou durante a sua carreira,há ainda algum que nunca interpretou mas que gostaria de interpretar? 

R.H: Tem razão, tive a maravilhosa oportunidade de desempenhar uma variedade de papéis… desde heroínas a vilãs, de papéis dramáticos a comédias. Sempre gostei de fazer sitcoms, porque acho que a comédia tem tudo a ver com timing e ritmo… tem uma musicalidade. Acho que a minha carreira me proporcionou uma enorme satisfação no que diz respeito à diversidade de papéis, mas há atores com quem eu adoraria ter trabalhado. Lucille Ball era brilhante na comédia e teria sido um sonho trabalhar com ela. Na verdade, encontrei-a num restaurante uma noite, conversámos e pude expressar a minha admiração, mas ela estava no fim da sua vida naquela altura, o que impediu que trabalhássemos juntas.

 

 

SWCP: Você conquistou um fã-clube com membros de todo o mundo. Poderia nos contar um pouco mais sobre esse fã-clube?

R.H: Sinto-me muito afortunada por saber que o meu trabalho tocou corações, entreteve pessoas e, espero, também as inspirou. Sim, o clube de fãs tornou-se mundial devido à enorme distribuição internacional de tantos programas em que trabalhei. Há eventos de autógrafos em todo o mundo e muitos salões do automóvel para os quais sou convidada, juntamente com o carro KITT. O que me deixa particularmente feliz é que, graças à Internet, os fãs se conhecem e participam nos eventos uns dos outros; consequentemente, muitas amizades são forjadas por pessoas de todas as esferas da vida. Isso é algo muito bonito. Um laço comum, mesmo o amor por um determinado programa de televisão, pode unir pessoas em todo o mundo.

 

SWCP: Você foi cantora, atriz, modelo e artista.Entre tantas virtudes artísticas,qual foi a mais difícil de trabalhar e porquê?

R.H: Sim, tenho sido muito abençoada por trabalhar em muitas áreas criativas. Além de atuar em projetos maravilhosos, ainda tenho a oportunidade incrível de cantar e realizar concertos e muitos eventos de caridade. Como adoro atuar, vejo isso como uma alegria, não como algo negativo de forma alguma. Às vezes, as viagens podem ser desafiadoras, naturalmente, mas é sempre uma bênção levar alegria aos outros.

 

 

SWCP: Já alguma vez visitou Portugal?O que conhece do nosso país?

R.H: Adoraria visitar Portugal! Sei que é um país extremamente bonito, com pessoas encantadoras, e adoraria ter a oportunidade de visitá-lo!

 

SWCP: Em que projetos está atualmente a trabalhar?

R.H: Na verdade, estou a entrar também na área da produção e temos um guião fantástico, para o qual estamos atualmente a trabalhar no financiamento. Trata-se de um tema muito atual e é um thriller de suspense repleto de ação que certamente irá agradar a um público diversificado.

 

SWCP: Que mensagem gostaria de enviar aos seus fãs?

R.H: Por favor, diga a todos os fãs que agradeço o amor e o apoio deles e espero fazer um evento na sua região para que possamos nos encontrar pessoalmente!

SWCP: Among the many characters you have played during your career, is there anyone you have never played but would like to play?

R.H: You are right, I have had the wonderful opportunity to play a variety of roles …from heroines to villains, from dramatic roles to comedy. I always enjoyed doing the sitcoms, because I think comedy is all about the timing and the rhythm …it has a musicality about it. I think my career has provided me enormous fulfillment as far as the diversity of roles, but there are actors with whom I would have loved to work. Lucille Ball was brilliant at comedy and it would have been a dream come true to work with her. I actually met her st a restaurant one evening and had a conversation and was able to express my admiration, but she was at near the end of her life at that point, preventing us from ever working together.

 

SWCP: You have amassed a fan club with members from around the globe. Could you tell us a bit more about this fan club?

R.H: I feel very fortunate to know that my work has touched hearts, entertained people, and hopefully also inspired them. Yes, the fan club has become world-wide due to the massive international syndication of so many of the shows on which I worked. There are autograph events all over the world and many cars shows to which I am invited along with the KITT car. What makes me particularly happy is that because of the internet, fans meet each other and then attend each other’s events; consequently, so many friendships are forged by people from all walks of life. That is a very beautiful thing. A common bond,even love of a certain tv show, can unite people around the globe.

 

SWCP: You have been a singer, actress, model, and artist. Among so many artistic talents, which was the most difficult to work with and why?

 R.H: Yes, I have been very blessed to work in many creative areas. And besides acting in wonderful projects, I still have the terrific opportunity to sing and perform concerts and many charity events. Because I love performing, I see it as a joy, not a negative in any way. Sometimes the travel can be challenging naturally, but it is always a blessing to give joy to others.

 

SWCP: Have you ever visited Portugal? What do you know about our country?

R.H: I would love to visit Portugal! I know it is an extremely beautiful country with lovely people, and I would absolutely adore the opportunity to visit you!

 

SWCP: What projects are you currently working on?

R.H: I am actually branching into producing as well and we have an amazing script for which we are currently working on the funding. It is about a very timely subject and is an action-filled suspense thriller which is sure to appeal to a broad-based audience.

 

SWCP: What message would you like to send to your fans?

R.H: Please tell all the fans that I appreciate their love and support and I hope to do an event in their area so that we can meet in person!
