Vanessa Marshall é uma dobradora de voz e atriz de televisão americana que é mais ativa em filmes, desenhos animados e videogames. Em Star Wars, ela foi a voz de Hera Syndulla em várias séries animadas de televisão: Lego Star Wars e videogames (entre outros personagens), Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Star Wars: Rebels e Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
SWCP: A Hera Syndulla foi o seu principal personagem em Star Wars.Como foi essa experiência?
V.M: Interpretar a Hera Syndulla foi o ponto alto da minha vida! O mais divertido que eu já tive! Gostei muito de criar uma "família", não só com membros do elenco de Star Wars Rebels, mas também com todos os fãs maravilhosos que conheci ao longo do caminho!
SWCP: Já era fã de Star Wars antes de trabalhar nesta frânquia?Tem algum personagem favorito além daqueles que já interpretou?
V.M: Já era uma grande fã de Star Wars antes de trabalhar na franquia! Ahsoka Tano é a minha heroína! Eu amo a SNIPS! Ela me inspira diariamente! E sou uma grande fã de Clone Wars!
SWCP: Na New York University Tisch School of the Arts, você frequentou a pós-graduação obtendo um mestrado em atuação e aprendizagem de diferentes dialetos.Sabe falar português?
V.M: Estudei muitos dialetos ao longo dos anos. Eu não falo português, mas adoraria aprender! Sempre quis viajar para Portugal, e espero chegar lá algum dia! Talvez você me possa ensinar?
SWCP: Entre tantos personagens que interpretou,qual foi até agora,o mais difícil de interpretar?
V.M: Cada personagem apresenta desafios únicos. Eu realmente adorei descobrir o som certo para Dr. Strangelove (com sotaque britânico) e para a Olga (com sotaque russo) para a franquia de videojogos Metal Gear Solid. Foi complicado acertar cada um!
SWCP: Podemos saber em que projetos está atualmente a trabalhar?
V.M: Atualmente estou interpretando a Mulher-Maravilha na série animada "Harley Quinn" na HBOmax, e também há um Especial do Dia dos Namorados que será lançado em 9 de fevereiro de 2023! Espero que possam assisti-lo em Portugal! É uma versão muito adulta da franquia da DC. É hilariante!

Vanessa Marshall is an American voice and television actress who is most active in films, cartoons and video games.In Star Wars,she was the voice of Hera Syndulla in several Lego Star Wars animated television series and video games(Among other characters),Star Wars Forces of Destiny,Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
SWCP: Hera Syndulla was your main character in Star Wars.How was that experience?
V.M: Playing Hera Syndulla was the highlight of my life! The most fun I’ve ever had! I so enjoyed creating a “family,” not only with members for the Star Wars Rebels Cast, but also all the wonderful fans I met along the way!
SWCP: Were you a Star Wars fan before you worked on this franchise? Do you have any favorite characters besides the ones you've played?
V.M: I was a huge Star Wars fan before working on the franchise! Ahsoka Tano is my hero! I love SNIPS! She inspires me daily! I am a massive Clone Wars fan!
SWCP: At the New York University Tisch School of the Arts,you attended graduate school attaining a masters in acting and learning different dialects.Do you speak Portuguese?
V.M: I have studied many dialects over the years. I do not speak Portuguese, but I would LOVE to learn! I have always wanted to travel to Portugal, and I hope to get there some day! Maybe you can teach me?
SWCP: Among so many characters you've played, what's been so far, the hardest to play?
V.M: Each character presents unique challenges. I really loved discovering the right sound for both Dr. Strangelove (with a British accent) and Olga (with a Russian accent) for the Metal Gear Solid video game franchise. It was tricky to get each one just right!
SWCP: May we know what projects you are currently working on?
V.M: I am currently playing Wonder Woman on the "Harley Quinn" animated series on HBOmax, and there is also a Valentine’s Day Special that goes live on February 9th, 2023! I hope you can watch it in Portugal! It is a very adult take on the DC franchise. It is hilarious!
