Bruce Allen Davison é um ator americano que participou em mais de 270 filmes, produções televisivas e teatrais, tais como: From the Shadows, Condor's Nest,X-Men(2000), The Manor, Creepshow, Defrost: A Série Virtual, entre outros.

 

SWCP: Tem sido um ator muito versátil.Há ainda algum tipo de personagem que ainda não desempenhou mas que gostaria de interpretar?

B.D: Talvez o Rei Lear. Mas não sei se teria energia para isso.

 

SWCP: Para si,em que área é mais difícil de atuar? Em palco,filmes ou Televisão?

B.D: A participação especial como advogado, médico ou cientista em quatro séries. Normalmente, vomitando um monte de baboseiras inúteis para impulsionar o enredo.

 

SWCP: Foi nomeado para o Óscar de Melhor Ator Secundário, ganhou um Globo de Ouro e um Independent Spirit Award. O próximo objetivo é um Óscar na categoria de melhor actor?

B.D: Os prémios têm muito pouco a ver com a representação. É pura sorte e política.

 

SWCP: Tendo trabalhado com renomados atores e realizadores, recorda-se de alguma situação engraçada ou incomum que tenha ocorrido durante as filmagens ou nos bastidores?

B.D: São tantas que não dá para mencionar aqui, daria para escrever um livro!

 

SWCP: Em que projetos está atualmente a trabalhar?

B.D: Em dois filmes independentes: "25 Miles to Normal" e "Out of the Woods".

 

SWCP: Que mensagem gostaria de enviar aos seus fãs?

B.D: Percebam que tudo o que se perde é substituído por um ganho futuro.

Bruce Allen Davison is an American actor who has appeared in more than 270 films, television and stage productions such as: From the Shadows, Condor's Nest,X-Men(2000), The Manor, Creepshow, Defrost: The Virtual Series,among others.

 

 

SWCP: You've been a very versatile actor. Is there any kind of character you haven't played yet but would like to?

B.D: Maybe King Lear. But don´t know if I would have the stamina.

 

SWCP: For you, which area is the most difficult for you to act in? On stage, movies or television? 

B.D: Guest starring as a lawyer,doctor or scientist as a guest on four series.Usually,spewing a mouthful of useless plot driver gobbblede gook.

 

SWCP: You've been nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, won a Golden Globe and an Independent Spirit Award. Is your next goal an Oscar in the Best Actor category? 

B.D: Awards have very little to do with acting. Pure chance and politics.

 

SWCP: Having worked with some renowned actors and directors, do you remember any funny or unusual situations that occurred during filming or behind the scenes?

B.D: Too many to mention here, writing a book!

 

 

SWCP: What projects are you currently working on?

B.D: Two independent films: "25 Miles to Normal" and "Out of the Woods". 

 

SWCP: What message would you like to send to your fans?

B.D: Realise that whatever one loses, is replaced by a future gain.
